Interior of a family house in Lysolaje

Architecture: Martin Rusina, Martin Frei, Alena Hrabětová, Markéta Poláčková, Irena Vojtová
Area: Praha Lysolaje
Project: 2016

The client bought the house as a shell and core. The project solves the interior layout arrangement, the placement and design of all built-in furniture and objects and the material concept.

We have designed housing that provides peace and privacy for each family member, but also plenty of space for a shared family life at the dining table, cooking, watching a favorite movie.

On the ground floor there is a garage, entrance hall, toilet and living room with kitchen. The hall is spatially connected to the living room. Between the garage and the hall there is a glass door with. Open staircase connects the livingroom with the hall on the first floor. There is a bathroom, a children’s room and a bedroom through the dressing room. Bedroom has a separate bathroom and a working room.
Architectural interior design uses the principle of niches with various functions – built-in furniture, window and door openings, etc. Operating rooms (bathrooms, garages) are with living rooms visually connected by glass partitions. Simple and natural materials are used – ground concrete, plaster, veneered wood and natural plywood, marmoleum, ceramic mosaic.
