The central hotel school, Antonin Careme, built in the nineties, is located about 20 km south of Paris. Due to the number of commuting students, there was a need to build a boarding school for 100 students.
The school building is a new pavilion in the architecturally closed complex of the school. The location on the plot forms a divide between the residential quarter and the courtyard of the school.
The shape of the building is made up of a triple of shifted wings. This displacement allows the natural daylight to penetrate into the interior space, while allowing visual contact with the surroundings. The main staircase, elevator and room for educators are placed in the intersection of the three building volumes.
