The nursery school in St. Pierre-lès-Nemours is part of the larger set of children’s and youth’s buildings, which includes, in addition to a kindergarten, a basic dining room, a school canteen, a leisure center, and a health center. In the first stage, the competition was listed only for kindergarten, canteen and leisure center.
The concept of a nursery rests on objects with classes, clustered around the garden in the courtyard. The classes open in the garden. The individual objects connect the outside of the pergola, both inside the block and on the street. The pergola serves not only as a cognitive and unifying element, but also as shielding in the seating corner.
